Skincare is something I wish I thought more about in my youth when our parents solution to skin damage was sunscreen. My skin has aged well, however, looking back I wonder if I had taken preventive measures earlier would my skin look even better? They say hindsight is 20/20. It’s never too late to start practicing good skincare, especially for those of you who are still in your twenties. I’ve rounded up a list of 20 beauty products under $20 you should invest in now to protect your skin.
I’ve always used moisturizer, but there was a turning point in my thirties when I understood the value of skincare and a good skincare regime.
For most 20-somethings you are planning your futures: Paying off student loans, first international trip, first time living alone, first house or apartment, and so on. Beauty products are important but your priorities are makeup because external beauty makes a good first impression. The problem is your skin won’t always look as great as it does today if you do not maintain it by taking preventive measures. If you want to age gracefully it’s important to spend as much time focusing on what you’re putting on your skin every morning and night as it is to find fabulous mascara and a great highlighter–contouring palette you can’t live without. At some point everyone is going to see your bare face.
With the Fourth of July only one day away I’m sharing 20% off of my first 20 products. Keep it red, white and BRIGHT this 4th with AP 24® Whitening Fluoride Toothpaste. I love how this toothpaste brightens my teeth.
All of the products I have used and love. Just remember what you do now will reflect how your skin will age later.
