CHANNELING MY INNER EDIE SEDGWICK

CHANNELING MY INNER Edie Sedgwick

I ‘ve always thought I was born in the wrong era. Truth is I’m a lover of all things twenties and sixties. Slightly fascinated with retro fashion. Edie Sedgwick (Factory Girl) has been my muse for longer than I can recall. A few years back I designed a tee inspired by her glamour and charisma. Just one of the reasons I often thought about recreating some of her most memorable moments, hence this photoshoot channeling my inner Edie Sedgwick.

Known for her platinum blonde locks, unforgiving behavior, oversized chandelier earrings and leopard print fur coats made her the it girl of the sixties and studio 54. She may also be the reason behind my constant smokey eye makeup and love of all things vintage. Andy Warhol’s muse was divine. My idea of allure and elegance. A woman who knew how to shine in a tee, dress or pair of stockings.
