SHADES OF DENIM

SHADES OF DENIM

O kay, I’m not one to dress down but this year I spent less time traveling and attending soirees and more time hanging at sporting venues and locally in my beach town. My dress obsession became more of a shades of denim fad. Retro, distressed, vintage acid wash, faded and black denim make up a large percentage of my closet now. So when JCPenney contacted me to collaborate on their fall campaign I was thrilled to take advantage of more denim.

I found some of my long-time favorite brands like Levis and of course stocked up. You can never have too many great denim jackets. This one is my go-to. I bought it in a size bigger than my normal size so I can layer up during winter. It’s my favorite shade of blue and looks great with everything, even dresses. If you’ve been following my blog and social media for awhile you know I’m a lover of black everything. It took me years to wear color and natural shades of denim because I was a fan of all black everything. Now I can happily say I like it all. I still include black here and there, like sneaking in these black denim jeans.

This entire look is Levis and the shoes are Nicole Miller. I bought everything at JCPenney for a bargain. I think I paid a little more than $100 for this entire outfit. JCPenney is having a sale valid though 11/12/18 and you can receive an extra 25% off when you spend $100 or more or an extra 15% off when you spend under $100. What are you waiting for? Happy early Black Friday shopping!
